About the Awards
The Irish Whiskey Awards remain proudly built on the principle of judging the liquid on taste alone — removing preconceived ideas around brand, age, maturation or marketing.
Each entry is blind-tasted by members of whiskey societies and clubs across Ireland, ensuring fairness, integrity and a true celebration of quality and craftsmanship.

Charity Partner
Supporting Mary’s Meals
The awards continue to support the Kapatamoyo School in Zambia, where nearly 800 children receive two meals a day through Mary’s Meals. With rising costs, a modest entry fee has been introduced — with 100% going directly to charity.
