Mary's Meals

The Irish Whiskey Awards is proudly partnered with Mary's Meals.

686 Children are fed everyday by the Kapatomoyo School in Zambia by Celtic Whiskey (Celtic Whiskey Shop & Celtic Whiskey Bar) & the Irish Whiskey Awards through the fantastic charity Mary's Meals.

Zambia suffers from high rates of malnutrition, poverty and food insecurity, with many children out of school. For those children who are able to go to school, more than one million attend classes hungry. Since Mary’s Meals began serving meals in Zambia in 2014, the programme has expanded rapidly. We now feed more than 92,000 children in the country!

Applications for Irish Whiskey Awards 2025 are now open!

Submissions accepted until Thursday, July 17th

We are delighted to announce that applications for the annual Irish Whiskey (& Irish Spirits) Awards 2025 are now open. This year's awards include 23 categories, which you'll find outlined in the application form.

As always, the Irish Whiskey Awards are proudly built on the principle of judging the liquid on taste alone, removing any preconceived notions based on brand, age, maturation, or marketing. Each entry is blind-tasted by members of whiskey societies and clubs across the country, ensuring fairness, integrity, and a celebration of true quality.

Mary's Meals

This event also remains firmly rooted in its charitable mission: to fundraise for the Kapatomoyo School in Zambia, where nearly 800 children receive two meals a day through the work of Mary's Meals. With rising costs, this year we are asking brands for a small entry fee for the first time. All fees collected will go directly to the final donation total. Please send me your application forms by email and I will send you an invoice for the payment.

Entry Fees

1 to 4 entries €25
Submit up to 4 entries for a total fee of €25
5 to 8 entries €50
9 to 12 entries €75
And so on, adding €25 for every additional group of 4 entries.
The fee applies per group of up to 4 entries, not per individual entry.
